Great Museum day

Sky Garden, British Library, and Victoria and Albert museum

For those of you who have been following us, Karen has obsessed with the Sky Garden observation area. She set an alarm for 4 am to get reservations since certain they only release tickets 3 weeks in advance. Well the visit almost didn't happen as the tickets are still in Mount Pleasant. Thank goodness for email confirmations! The view was fantastic especially since we were expecting rain.

Then we were off to the British Library where we saw Handel's Messiah original manuscripts as well as the Magna Carta, some of the oldest bibles in existence and even some of the Beatles songs!

Finally we went to one of my favorite museums in the world, the Victoria and Albert Museum which truly has something for everyone. They had to throw us out!

Our time in London was too short as the weather was perfect, the people were so very kind and our stay was great. Now on to Spain....
