Tapas and art

Well Madrid has been an experience. The art is world class as we saw 3 art galleries with some amazing works in them.
But.. Navigating Madrid has been difficult despite a great deal of world travel experience. The people we encountered were not helpful as a whole navigating the complex ticketing systems of the museums and food servers were very unfriendly and not helpful. The palace we toured was amazing and really did rival Versailles! 90_02B6866DB460DC179BA0B9B92C1472DF.jpeg02B0F4B9E021FD3C7E75C763C9DE283C.jpeg

Our last night in Madrid we found a recommended Market which is kind of a high end food court which serves alcohol! We each took turns buying Tapas of our choice to share with the group, i.e. Holt brought back several kinds of cavier with a small vodka shooter, Terry brought Karen's request... Barnacles !!
They were much better than they looked!

Finally we are off to Barcelona. We waited an hour at the train station to buy our tickets and they tell us it is way cheaper to buy 4 first class tickets than to go Regular so twist our arms! A few hours of luxury and on to our next adventure
